I would like to visit a few more places on this beautiful planet. Otherwise I totally agree! Nothing like a peaceful day at home, cooking a meal, snuggle the pet or pets, a walk maybe some time in the garden. 🙌🫶🌸

Yes, never pass up an opportunity to travel; I love places where I don’t speak the language. Travel makes memories. 🕊️

I subscribed, I am touched by your content. I also am a dog sitter for my four legged grand children. Now more than ever I am trying to understand how we got to this point in America ( my ‘adopted’ country) Thank you and I am grateful for Substack to help preserve my sanity. ❤️❤️🐾🐾

Thank you, Anna Christina. Substack does offer haven. If I may, since you are a wonderful grandparent to doggos, you could also subscribe to A Good Spot (https://goodspot.substack.com/about), where I write more about animals. By the way, I’d be curious what your “parent” country is, but you can send me a DM if you don’t want to continue this conversation in public.

I am an ex South African, emigrated to the US in 1977. We had 2 boys ages 8 and 4, we chose America for so many reasons. I have come to love this country and the people and I still believe in the principles it represents.

I'm sure that you have an interesting tale to tell, based on that.
